One Response to LA Opera Podcast: Introduction to Rigoletto

  1. Angela. Zenn says:

Opera is supreme art. It is the composite of art, music and dance.

It’s unfortunate the current public is not home with opera. My wish is the remarkable LA Opera is able to carry a mission to revive opera in the chaotic public arena. Things I can think of:
Select performance in highly selected public locations followed by paid receptions. (People love food)
Select performance in university settings accompanying brief lectures, receptions.
Conduct fund raising events in affluent neighborhoods with brief performance.
All performances must be selected pieces of happy music pieces, i.e.
    L’elisir d’amore
    GREAT LUCK !!!
