Why You Should Join ARIA in 2017

ARIA is the program du jour for young professionals to connect with the arts, network, and make friends with fellow arts enthusiasts. This season, we’ve taken ARIA to the next level by elevating its placement as a young professionals’ program for opera lovers between the ages of 21 and 40, is switching to a club membership-based model. As a result, ARIA has never been bigger, with over 100 members mingling and mixing at various events and enjoying opera together. 2017 promises to be the best yet. 2017 promises to be the best yet.

Here are a few reasons why you should join ARIA in 2017:

There’s never been a better time to get involved with the arts in Los Angeles.

More and more young people are discovering the beauty, excitement, and power of live theatrical experiences and the arts scene in Los Angeles is burgeoning. Opera is no different, and in fact, is one of the most visceral and thrilling forms of live performance. LA Opera is one of the most progressive companies, constantly presenting the most cutting edge and exciting productions.

The parties keep getting better.

All-you-can-eat tacos and margaritas at a Mexican restaurant in the Arts District? Check. Disco dance party in a popular downtown LA art gallery? Check. Soiree in Los Angeles’ oldest distillery with free tastings and craft cocktails? Check. These are all examples of past ARIA parties, and we work tirelessly to provide our ARIA members with the best quality post-show entertainment, where guests can talk opera, mix, meet new members, and dance the night away.

The perks are amazing.

With an ARIA membership, not only do you get the after-parties, but you also get access to exclusive perks, including intermission receptions with free champagne and wine, subscriber benefits like bring-a-friend options and free exchanges, and invites to off-season events including a summer party, a holiday party, and networking mixers at local DTLA watering holes.

By becoming a subscriber and joining ARIA, you’re supporting the arts.

LA Opera is a non-profit organization and we rely on the support of our patrons and donors to keep the magic of opera in Los Angeles.
